We are hiring a Python Backend Developer who can design and build scalable backend systems, APIs, and microservices that power business-critical applications. The ideal candidate has strong command over Python frameworks, database interactions, and cloud-native development principles.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on Python backend development experience in production environments
• Experience with Django, FastAPI, or Flask for API-driven development
• Strong understanding of relational or NoSQL databases and ORM frameworks
• Experience integrating APIs, authentication, and event-driven messaging systems
• Familiarity with Docker and Git-based CI/CD pipelines
• Clear understanding of security best practices for backend applications
• Ability to debug and optimize performance across services and databases
• Strong understanding of Agile workflows and engineering best practices

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services and REST/GraphQL APIs using Python.
• Build scalable, secure, and modular microservices and event-driven components.
• Integrate with internal and third-party APIs, authentication services, and messaging systems.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to implement efficient, reliable persistence layers.
• Optimize application performance, security, caching, logging, and error handling.
• Write automated unit and integration tests to ensure reliable deployments.
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams throughout SDLC.
• Support deployments through CI/CD workflows and containerized environments.
• Troubleshoot production issues with structured root-cause analysis and permanent fixes.

Preferred Qualification

Experience with FastAPI for high-performance microservices Experience with Celery, Kafka, or RabbitMQ for async workloads Exposure to serverless architecture on AWS/GCP/Azure Experience building highly scalable SaaS or fintech platforms Knowledge of observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK Experience with infrastructure automation and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation) Contributions to open-source Python projects or libraries
