We are looking for a Chartered Accountant Intern to support the design, validation, and testing of accounting systems and financial software. This role bridges traditional accounting expertise with modern accounting platforms, enabling interns to apply accounting standards, compliance knowledge, and real-world scenarios in product development and system validation.
You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and QA teams to ensure accounting logic, financial reporting, and compliance workflows are accurate, scalable, and audit-ready.
Requirements
Strong foundation in accounting principles and financial reporting.
Ability to interpret accounting scenarios and map them to system workflows.
Comfort with validating numerical accuracy, balances, and compliance logic.
Willingness to work closely with technical teams on accounting-related validations.
Must be available full-time for the entire 6-month internship duration.
Responsibilities
Validate accounting workflows such as journal entries, vouchers, ledgers, and trial balance within software systems.
Review system behavior against accounting standards and principles.
Test financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
Assist in designing accounting use cases and sample datasets for products.
Support functional testing, reconciliation checks, and edge-case validations.
Review product documentation and ensure accounting correctness.
Preferred Qualification
Experience using accounting software such as Tally, Busy, Zoho Books, SAP, or Oracle Financials.
Exposure to GST returns, audits, or statutory compliance.
Interest in accounting automation, ERP systems, or FinTech platforms.
Prior experience in functional testing or system validation.

Early exit or termination due to performance or conduct issues will void stipend eligibility.
