Opening Summary
We are looking for a proactive DevOps Intern who is eager to learn modern CI/CD, automation, and cloud deployment practices. You will work with DevOps and engineering teams to support infrastructure setup, deployments, monitoring, and operational automation across development and production environments.
Requirements
- Understanding of DevOps concepts and the software development lifecycle.
- Basic hands-on experience with CI/CD, automation, or cloud deployment through labs or projects.
- Familiarity with Docker and Linux command line.
- Good communication skills and the ability to document processes clearly.
- Must be available full-time for the full 6-month internship duration.
- Must provide GitHub/lab/mini project demonstrating DevOps-related work.
Responsibilities
- Assist in setting up CI/CD pipelines and automating deployments.
- Help configure and maintain tools like Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
- Support provisioning and monitoring of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot application and environment issues.
- Write automation scripts for routine infrastructure tasks and deployments.
- Monitor application logs, system metrics, and alerting dashboards.
- Document DevOps workflows, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
Preferred Qualification
Exposure to Kubernetes deployments (manifests, Helm, or Kustomize). Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation). Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch). Familiarity with microservices architecture and container orchestration. Certifications or courses in DevOps / Cloud / SRE domain.

Stipend Eligibility Criteria
- Complete the full internship duration of 6 months.
- Maintain minimum 80% attendance (as per company policy).
- Meet assigned sprint deliverables and automation/deployment goals.
- Participate in standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and deployments.
- Follow company standards on security, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Early resignation or termination due to performance/disciplinary issues will forfeit stipend eligibility.
