Opening Summary

We are looking for a motivated AWS Engineer Intern who is passionate about cloud solutions, infrastructure reliability, and modern DevOps practices. You will work with the engineering team to design, deploy, and maintain cloud environments using Amazon Web Services. This role offers hands-on experience with real-world cloud projects, automation, and CI/CD workflows.

Requirements

• Understanding of cloud computing concepts and AWS core services.
• Basic hands-on experience with AWS through projects, labs, or coursework.
• Familiarity with Linux commands and networking fundamentals.
• Ability to write basic scripts for automation or deployment.
• Must be available full-time for the entire 6-month internship.
• Must share GitHub, project link, or lab work (even practice labs are accepted).

Responsibilities

• Assist in provisioning and managing AWS cloud resources for development and production environments.
• Support deployment and configuration of services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, and VPC.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in cloud environments.
• Work on automation scripts using AWS CLI, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Help maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, or Jenkins.
• Ensure security best practices including IAM roles, policies, encryption, and access control.
• Document cloud setup, architectural decisions, and deployment processes.

Preferred Qualification

Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation). Experience working with Docker or Kubernetes. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. Basic understanding of security groups, firewalls, and AWS Identity policies. Certifications like AWS Cloud Practitioner / AWS Solutions Architect Associate are a plus.

Stipend Eligibility Criteria

• Complete the full 6-month internship duration.
• Maintain minimum 80% attendance (as per company policy).
• Meet monthly cloud deliverables and assigned task goals.
• Actively participate in daily standups, sprint reviews, and cloud discussions.
• Uphold organizational performance, security, and confidentiality standards.
• Early exit or termination due to performance/disciplinary issues will void stipend eligibility.
