Opening Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Test Engineer Intern who is passionate about ensuring product quality and user satisfaction. You will work closely with the development and product teams to test web and mobile applications, identify issues, and help ensure that releases are stable, reliable, and aligned with requirements.

Requirements

• Review requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute manual test cases and document results.
• Identify defects, report them clearly, and track them to closure.
• Collaborate with developers to re-test fixed issues and validate resolutions.
• Perform functional, regression, UI, and usability testing.
• Support test documentation, test planning, and QA reporting.
• Stay updated with QA best practices and testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Basic understanding of software testing concepts (SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle).
• Ability to write structured test cases and test scenarios.
• Familiarity with bug-tracking tools like Jira, Trello, or similar.
• Clear written communication for reporting issues and documenting results.
• Must be available full-time for the full 6-month internship duration.
• Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualification

Experience writing or executing test cases for web/mobile applications. Exposure to Postman or API testing concepts. Knowledge of SQL basics for database validation. Understanding of automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. Certifications or coursework in Software Testing or QA.

Stipend Eligibility Criteria

• Adhere to confidentiality, professionalism, and organizational processes.
• Early exit or termination due to low performance/disciplinary issues will void stipend eligibility.
